Hermes bags never really go out of style. When the company introduces a winning handbag style, they keep using it for many decades, usually only making minor changes to the basic design. For example Constance Hermes bags have been around since 1959. Most Hermes bags are named after someone, but this time, it’s not a celebrity. The Constance is apparently named after the designer’s fifth child, who was born the same day the first Constance bag was sold. And in case you were wondering the little girl was named first, not the bag.

Already one of the most expensive luxury brands in the world, rumor has it that Hermes has raised their prices several percent over the winter. While we all understand that luxury usually comes at a price, I’m probably not the only one who feels this is getting a little ridiculous.
